Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. This week, Jake has a few explanations to throw into the weekly market update, containing this week's S&P 500, CRSP Mid Cap Value, debt markets and crude oil movement. Jake goes on to say that higher inflation is up. Well darn. But why? Then, to pile on the not so good news, oil prices are up. My pocketbook just can't catch a break..... Jake's first big topic is on the pattern of income during different times of economic fluctuations, comparing lower income and higher income folks. Next, Jake heads across the ocean to the other side of the world. Germany, Russia, Chana, etc. aren't doing great, to say the least. What are the future tariffs that are, as Jake put it, very very very very very very........ likely to happen, going to do to those parts of the world that rely on exports to the U.S.? If you thought the bitcoin conversation from last week was over, you're very wrong. Jake received some feedback that he responds to. Bringing up those tulips again....

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. Jake makes it through our weekly market update without a single overly long explanation or side story. How? Your guess is as good as mine. THEN! he continues on with a straightforward update on what happened in the economy this week. Maybe it was something I said? Anyhow, the big topic for the rest of this episode is on bitcoin. Naturally, Jake starts at the beginning..... Listen in to see how many rabbits' holes Jake makes it down.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. After blowing right through our weekly market update, Jake goes off on probably the wildest tangent I've heard on this podcast as he adds a topic in the spur of the moment on oil and energy. Our first official topic is on personal income and prices. This is followed by a talk on real estate and mortgage rates. Then comes China. China is in a bad spot and it's not likely to get better tomorrow. What might that lead to? If history repeats itself, then it looks like we already know.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. As if it were a big surprise, this episode starts out with an update on your most loved market indicators. Jake helps explains the flat curve (???) of the interest yield curve. This explanation leads into a longer discussion about PMIs and tariffs. Once again there is talk about how well the U.S. is doing and the even more bleak outlook of other countries. On a side note, I've started planning my trip to the E.U. Jeff throws in a new term, leveraged ETF and lucky for me, Jake tells us what that is. (I wonder if maybe explaining what things are is how he gets a good night's sleep.) Lastly, watch out for scams. Yes! they happen. Happy Turkey Day!!!!

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. This week's S&P 500 Stock Index and CRSP US Mid Cap Value Index were not a thing of beauty as they have been most of this year, but as they say, it could have been worse. After our market updates, we start out with tariffs. While tariffs may be imposed on specific goods or countries, it's not the shipper that pays those tariffs. So, who does? There is quite a bit of talk about the differences or in some cases, lack of differences between presidential campaigns. One of our issues in the U.S. of A. is a large labor shortage. Obviously, we all need to go out and get a second or third or maybe even forth job. Then we wouldn't have to worry about those grocery prices. Jake boasts about looking at Federal balance sheets... sounds like fun. But, because of that there is a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel for the real estate market.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. Jake starts us out with our weekly dose of market updates. The main body of the podcast starts out with interest rates. How does the government control inflation by loaning people money? What does the policy goals of the president elect mean for future interest rates? Jake moves onto productivity. He points out that the U.S. is in the lead for productivity. I've had a few jobs that would beg to differ based on a few of my co-workers. Jake breaks out the tea leaves on what might happen in the government. The question is, were they green tea or black tea leaves? Lastly, Jake somehow ties in a portion of the podcast covering healthcare.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. This week, Jeff hits the foam running, jumping right into the market update with only a short Squirrel!!! moment from Jake as he explains what a value and growth company are. Then, listen in as they explain why we're doing better than most the rest of the world, but not in every way. The two hurricanes that hit the Southeast portion of the U.S. have made things a little wonky. The Real Estate portion of the economy, but why? Lastly, Jake once again gives one piece of advice that doesn't have to be done on a fiduciary level.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. And they're back! After an internet outage prevented them from recording a timely market update last week, they're roaring to get back at it. And by "it" I of course mean the typical bad puns they like to toss around all willy nilly. This week's market indicator updates were not all rainbows and unicorns. Listen in to discover why the U.S. is doing so well while other parts of the world aren't quite making par. Continue listening to hear about a bank failure that was a bit different than the ones we saw in 2023 and why it's important to remember that just because the Fed bailed banks out in the past, that doesn't mean they will always do that in the future.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. During the delve into this week's typical market movement, Jeff and Jake give us a bit of insight into just what some of the outstanding numbers the S&P 500 Index look like historically, and is worth a listen if you ask me. Have you ever wondered why the Fed like to see a 2% inflation rate? Why not 0% inflation, gee that sure sounds good to me. Well, the guys explain how a target of 0% inflation is a bad thing. I'm beginning to think maybe China is part of the podcast on a weekly basis because they are a good example of how not to do things. But this week, Germany joins the mix. Then, they begin talking about the viability of the economic policies both the presidential candidates are talking about. Lastly, the union strikes. Good for now, bad for later. my my my.

Welcome to another exciting episode of The Personal Wealth Coach Podcast with your hosts, Jeff and Jake McClure. In true optimistic fashion, these two "non-optimists" provide our weekly dose of market indicator updates then try and bait us all into going and listening to previous radio programs from 2021 and 2018. Yea, nice try Bucko. (But, just in case you want to, here's the link Radio Program). They go on to remind us that conflicts and choices made in other parts of the world may not involve us, but they do still affect us, sometimes in ways we don't even consider. If you make it to the end, you'll hear more on why the guys think China's problems likely won't be fixed despite their current attempts to do so. Oh, and how's your toilet paper supply?
